No coat required

As I said in an earlier blog the weather has not been too good for many beach walks, but today we all got out for the beach run!  (well after the Guv finished watching the F1 from Malaysia).

Not only that, it was much warmer, no coats required, which is where I am at a bit of a disadvantage over you humans...........

It's wet !

Its a good job the Guv and Misses went out early this morning with me for my beach walk and the buying of human eating stuff because whilst then the weather was good, its NOT good now. This means a boring doggy afternoon sitting on the balcony watching the wet stuff!

Back to normal

So after 7 weeks in France and my people setting up my new home it was back to my homeland in Greece.  Two days drive for the Guv to get to Ancona in Italy for the boat home!  Once again as the "poppymobile" was not towing the human kennel on wheels the Guv had planned a "sleeping box" for us all.  The only problem I have is that on-board there is no grass to, well do things.  Let me tell you 18 hours is a long time not to go!

Another days drive from Igoumenitsa and we were back home in my Greek house. Now its back to normal, morning walks on the beach and the Guv and Misses having the occasional coffee on the terrace of their favour cafe.....with me of course!

As if my magic

Well I'm glad to report that my folks got their priority right and after setting up the kitchen set up the dining room first. After all what can be more import than feeding me!

Ding Dong......

You will know from my earlier blog posts that I managed to write whilst with my people from an internet cafe, all the "stuff" from the UK arrived on time and lots and lots of boxes were unloaded, including my bed.

So whilst all this was going on I just kept watch through the gates and kept well out of the way in the garden........
One the right of the bottom photo is a very deep well.....now I wonder if there's a pussy in it ?

On lookout

I spent the next day on lookout for the delivery truck from the UK

"Wooden" you know it?

Once all my peoples belongings arrived from Wales the first thing the Guv did was arrange to have some dead trees delivered. Well in fact it was the Misses who had to get it sorted as the human who lived near by had great difficulty in understanding the Guv.  The Misses spoke in some odd non Greek language that he seemed to understand and the next day the guy arrived hauling loads of dead trees in a trailer towed by a mud plugging machine that actually had a name!

I know because it was written on the side of it...it was called JOHN DEERE

After the Guv had carefully stacked all the dead trees tidy in one of the barns I thought I would hang around a bit and keep guard............

A place to rest

Chalais

After the Guv's very long drive from Bari to my new home in France I was rather tired, the thought of all that unpacking my people had to do before I got fed worried me!  However I need not had worried as the Guv had planned to stay with some very nice Dutch people in the village near our house to give him and the Misses a place to relax during setting up the house....that meant I was able to relax as well..............

My absence !

The Poppymobile & bath tub in the background

Now you know I've been away for a few weeks helping my people move me into my new home in France, well I thought I'd start today telling you
 something about my journey.

Me in the ships "living box "

We set off with the "Poppymobile" full of various goodies from a place in my homeland called Igoumenitsa  to Bari in Italy. As we did not take the human kennel on wheels this time the Guv booked small living box on the bath tub!

I was well and truly worn out after the drive to Igoumenitsa from my house, after all it's hard work keeping watch on the Guv's driving!
