Odd ideas....

You know sometimes the Guv has some odd ideas.  I get taken to all these places  like here in Uzerche and shown all these great views then he thinks I'd like to see a creepy crypt !

The next place.....

So we continued our tour to the next village of St Robert. Now I can't say I was impressed and neither was the Guv as there was nowhere he could have a coffee

Well I thought at least here there is somewhere I can have a run-a-round......

So back to telling you all where I have been lately. 

This is the town of Excideuil one of the places the Guv and Misses took me. 

The castle here managed to repel Richard the Lionheart three times, but not me I got part way inside!

Play time

Now yesterday I told you about our camp site and as you know it was quite empty as it's early in the season.  Now that meant there were no little humans about and I could play in peace !

It's camp......

Now I know the Guv told some of his friends about the campsite we stayed on in St Yrieix la Perche but I thought I'd give my readers some more information.  I was made very welcome by the humans who look after the site, they even offered the Guv some special doggy bags, the only thing was they were empty. Mind you when I found out what they were for I guess it was good they were empty!

The place was exceptionally well kept, so I stayed on my best behaviour although if I could have got through that fence to chase the ducks, I would have ! 

There were a few mobile human kennels that had engines on the other side of the camp site but we were all alone with our human kennel and the poppymobile.

Well I've had a hot and busy few days here in France.  Besides having to supervise the Misses and the Guv loading up the human kennel on wheels to make sure they took enough food for me, I had to check the Guv put my personal touring logo on the rear !!

Now I need to make it clear despite these paw prints I plead total innocence. 

Shopping day........

Shopping day yesterday in Barbezieux and I got bought lots of doggy food 

but not as much as the pigeon seems to have had!

Happy birthday

It's the Guv's birthday today so I thought I'd wish him a very happy birthday on my blog page.  Mind you I still got him up and out of bed at 0700hrs so we could go for our early morning walk together.  Now in doggy years I'm one year younger than he his......that's why I got more energy than him I guess !

Well at last the Guv has finished laying the ceramic tiles on the upper patio

Mind you I had to remind him to put my sun-lounger back!

Morning walk

Another nice, bright early morning walk for the Guv and me.  All around my pad I have open fields and very quiet country roads so I'm safe to run-a-bout, that is except in the hunting season when the Guv makes me wear an orange vest!
