Basket case

Well we are now all settled in at my pad in France and Daisy has her own bed to sleep in.  Mind you I do have to remind her every so often which one is hers.....

Two go walking

Well we are back home at my French pad after our long journey.  Now my regular readers will know each morning I get taken out for an early morning walk, well now I have to take the "pup" as well.

Come on Guv, hurry up !

What do you think is down there?

Don't go there Daisy, it's muddy and the Guv will get mad!

Where'd the rabbit go ?

The Black Army........

One of the overnights stops we had was in Frejus. In the morning before we left the area the Guv and the Missus wanted to stop and see the Black Army Memorial sculpture

During the First World War, nearly 200,000 soldiers from “French West Africa” fought in the French army. 30,000 of them were killed in action. The federation represented 8 French colonies in West Africa between 1895 and 1958. Mauritania, Senegal, French Sudan (now Mali), Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Niger, Upper Volta (now Burkina Faso), Togo and Dahomey (now Benin).

What a great stop

So after leaving the ferry we were in for a long trip, however as I have said in previous posts the Guv always stops regularly for us dogs to have a walk around.  This time he excelled himself and found this great motorway rest stop for us.....

Well I'm floored!

As normal my people have booked a special cabin on this "tub" so we can travel with them instead of being put in the metal cages they call pet kennels. So for the next 22 hours I get some comfort......or so I thought!

You see something went very wrong, the "pup" got the bunk and I got the floor !!

Off we jolly well go...

So now I can tell you all about the last few days. Being an experienced traveller I knew once the "poppymobile" was packed in a certain way it meant a long trip.  I was right......off we jolly well went !

After quite a long trip we were back on the floating tub but this time I had to share my journey not just with the Guv and the Missus but with the "young un" as well.

Silly time & sleep time

Wow and woof all this playing and running around with Daisy is near wearing me out. I think that is the reason I did not have any pups of my own, mind you I also think the dog doctor the Guv took me to years ago had something to do with that !
