If you go down to the woods today......

For a few nights we stayed at this farm camp site which I thought was great!  There was acres and acres of wild woodland for me to explore, and on the second night we were the only campers there. That meant I could chase rabbits, bark as much as I wanted and generally have a good doggy time.

Mind you I still did my job of protecting the Guv & the Misses.......

Tourist dog.....

Well guess I had better do the touristy thing and have my photo taken with the "Guv" near the river in Aubusson. The Misses never did get her tapestry, that I now have learnt is some sort of picture in cloth humans have some delight in looking at. It appears there are now no factories left in the town making tapestries.  Good job I think, that means the Misses saved her money, and that means she can buy me more FOOD......

A bridge too far?

Its hot, I'm hungry and the Misses wants to look around this place called Aubusson!  Well I think I'll just wait here until she has finished and take a rest.

Apparently this town was once famous for making tapestries, now I thought those were things served with drinks in Spanish tavernas, or is that pastries?  No I sure its tapestries.........Uh, not sure what she thinks she will find though as she wants one to hang on the wall.......bit sticky I think.

I want it, I want it........

OK, I found a small place for me, the Guv and the Misses. A bit of room to run-a-around and a few deer loose in the grounds to provide me with a bit of meat for a few months!
Now if only the Guv could win the lottery, 'cos I don't think his piggy bank is full enough yet!!!!

I'll help them look.....

All this touring around France over the last three weeks is quite exhausting for a dog like me.  Now the other day I heard my people say they that when they get old they will come to live in France.  "Uh" I thought they were old!  Now me, I would prefer Greece, but I guess I had better help them out and look at some places for sale..........

She's out....

My people took me out today to a small French town and I guess we were planning to see some french girl called "Mairie".  She must have been awfully rich because just look at the house she has.  Unfortunately as we never got in I guess she must have been out!

F1 Dog (or something like that)

You know how the Guv and me like cars, well today was a real treat as we went to the museum at the Le Mans 24 hour circuit. There was only one major problem for me, they would not let me in!
I tried telling them that I'm a real F1 dog, (I know I am because the Guv often calls me something of an F Dog), but they were having any of it........Guess I'll have to be contented looking at the Guvs photos.

Well this camping lark seems to get better and better.  After three days at Creully and after meeting some of the Guvs friends who were holiday nearby we have moved off to a place near Le Mans. This time I get my my own tent as well !  Mind you I have to work for my keep, the Misses says its OK to bark at all the kids that come within 100 yards of us !!!!!!

The famous dog "Nipper" on the label of His Master Voice records is not the only canine that likes listening to "Bach"....or is that "Bark?"

Back to rain again......

Another wet walk this morning over the Welsh hills, its a good job my people bought me this raincoat. However I can still make a mess in my house it I get my feet muddy and get in before the Guv can wipe me down !!!
Guess I could be in for wellingtons next
