Paws for thought.....

I thought today I would remind all humans about some of the foods and other items that us canines find either poison or dangerous. Please keep us safe, after all some of my friends can not read!

Rather than have to type out all this info, have a look at this link.....

A great day out with my people yesterday

Tuesday, 14 April 2015

Nice and sunny.....

So apart from the fireworks yesterday was a good day out for my people and me.  The day started with a run-a-bout on the beach and then off to Stoupa where my people had their breakfast.  Another walk about and its was off to "Cine" for them to have another coffee break.  Getting home late afternoon I can tell you I was plum tucked out, and slept until dinner time.....

I don't like it...

I remember telling you all about the "mad' Greeks who celebrate Easter by throwing fireworks around, well not so much fireworks but dynamite.  Today I went out with my people and on the way home it started again!  As we were all in the "poppymobile" I had no option but to take cover under the seats.......

I  DON'T  LIKE  IT!

I see no ships !

Very quiet out at sea this morning, no fishing boats out at all. I guess the people are all still in bed after a late night at church!  In fact the night was reasonably quiet as well, apart from a load of my fellow canines barking until the early hours of the morning due to firecrackers being let off by some inconsiderate humans.    Now tonight could be a whole lot worse........

It "mite" itch!

Its that time of year again when these spider "mites" appear in the grass and yes I had one on me !  YUK.......  Fortunately being a very clean dog with all white fur the Guv spots them immediately and sorts it for me.

Now despite always wearing my special collar that deters sand-flies and the likes these spider mites still  can get on us dogs especially if we run in long grass, so now for the next month or so I know I will be closely inspected by the Guv and Misses each time I come in after being out in the garden....and let me tell you that's many, many times a day !!!!

To take the itches away the Guv just took this photo yesterday in the garden, huh I think he thinks he's Richard Attenborough !

Cut backs..........

A great morning for the beach walk this morning, warm and sunny so for a change we all went to our nearest coastal town of Petalidi.  It made a change for me as I had some fresh areas to have a sniff around in. Then it was back to my pad with my people for the Guv to have his morning coffee on the balcony.

Another odd fact I must tell you about the Guv, is that during the time I have been with him he has planted lots of trees in my garden, today after his coffee break he's in the garden and cutting the tops off them!  Seems strange to me planting things to grow then cutting them to stop them growing......very odd you humans..........
