I thought today I would show you some photos of one of the churches on the island of Zakynthos that my people and I went to visit.

Now in English that would be

Today I thought I would show you some of the other places my people took me to.  The Guv (and the Misses) took quite a lot of photographs, but some do not have me in them !  Now whilst I know they will not be as interesting to you, I guess I had better post them in my blog, because if I don't the Guv will get upset.  (Mind you he's no David Bailey !)

I found a friend.

Porto Keri was another nice beach area the Guv took us to. In fact my people went there twice for lunch,...... me well I got to meet this rather nice Greek canine.

No mice in this windmill.....

On one of our outings in the poppymobile the Guv drove to this windmill thing at a place called Skinari.  Not really much I can say about it apart from the fact it went round and around, and was quite old, probably even older than the Guv !

I thought I should have my photo taken here though, mind you the 

Misses somehow got in the picture !

Life's a beach !

Like I said not a bad bit of beach around here and not just sand but lots of 

grass and a big field for me to enjoy also.....

Could I make money here?

As I said yesterday where we were staying was only a few doggy steps from the beach front.  Now in our garden there was this kennel like thing, I wonder if I could open a "περίπτερο" (little kiosk for my English speaking friends) and earn a bit of money ?

We're staying here....

After my people had finished their lunch it was off to where the Guv had planned we spend our next 6 days.  I was very pleased when we arrived to see the Guv had thought about me also, as he had arranged a place with a garden for me to run around in with my very own play kennel !

Also it was only 50 doggy steps to the beach....I'll show you all those photographs over the next few days......

All they do is eat !

So we travel to Kylini, an hour on the ferry boat and when we get off what goes the Guv do?  Does he take me to the beach for a run-a-bout...NO.  Does he take me to the accommodation he has booked so I can sleep....NO, He goes to a human eating place an orders lunch for the Misses and himself!

I got nothing !!!!

Ferry nice.......

I promised some more photographs of the Kylini to Zakynthos ferry on my blog yesterday, so here they are.  The Guv said he was very impressed just how well looked after the ferry was, nice and clean and what is more the price of a cup of coffee was cheaper than on the square in Kalamata !

Mind you I think he wanted to take home the Volkswagon camper they had as a display feature, but they would not let him.......

Big "H" (and not the Guv!)

So as I said yesterday I got to go with my people in the "poppymobile" on holiday and after a short drive we boarded this ferry.  At first I thought the Guv had bought it as it had a big "H" on it !!

A short 1 hour crossing (far better than the hours I have to cope with when we go to Italy), and we were in Zakynthos.  I'll show you some more photos of the ferry tomorrow......very smart I must say!
