Greengreen (or rather brown) grass of home

I thought today I would show you some of my garden I'm allowed to run around in.  The first photo the Guv took this morning from the bedroom balcony, the second is of the front driveway and the third of the rear garden.  As you will see it's been rather dry here and the grass is turning brown.  Not that the Guv minds that.....less mowing he says!

You recall what I was saying about this pipe thing?  Well this morning I decided to go back and have another good sniff around it and investigate, I mean I need to make sure that my Greek coastline is safe and it was not an air inlet pipe to some illegal immigrant hiding cave don't I?

So I had a good sniff and decided to track down the other end.....I found it (I think) but it was the other side of this river, and I'm not a very good swimmer! I think I'll let the Guv investigate from here...................

Now I know my Greek friends will have knowledge of the Greek-Russian gas pipe line deal that's causing all this controversy at the moment.  Well I think it's all too late as the Russians have broken through already !  You see I found the pipe coming up through the sand on the beach this morning, either that or it's a Russian submarine that has beached and upped it's periscope .......

Before the humans.....

Another nice early run on the beach before you humans get here and mess it up leaving all your rubbish!  What annoys me is that it's us canines that get banned from the beaches in the summer......

Well the cheek of it !  There I am early in the morning, off as normal for my beach run-a-bout and someone has the audacity to invade my privacy by camping next to my beach !

I soon got them out of bed with a few very loud barks.....

Late up....

Well I allowed the Guv a bit longer in bed this morning so after his breakfast it was 8am before we got to the beach!  On the way we passed the lady that exercises her horses each morning, but I was more interested in the three canines she has running with her.  I must get the Guv to photograph them....

I had a good look today at the beach bar that has been rebuilt, not a bad job either, I think the Guv will be trying it out..........

Its a dog's life

As I said, same old routine....up early in the morning, get my fur brushed then off to the beach with my people.  Back home, get fed then a lazy day in the sun on the balcony whilst the Guv does the work!   Gee...who would have a dog's life?

We go back home

Well my holiday in Zakynthos was soon over and we were on our way back to my home in the Peloponnese.  Back to my early morning beach walks on the same old beaches, visits in the sun to the same old tavernas.......Oh well I guess I'll suffer that !!

Sorry did we interrupt you?

These are two photos the Guv took of a bay near Volimos, we drove all the way down but unlike last time my people visited they did not go on the small boat that takes humans to see the Blue Cave. Good job to, as I would had to have stayed in the poppymobile and it was far too hot!

After that we drove to this taverna next to the big cross for them to have refreshments, huh some hope as the staff only just managed to make them coffee.....guess we interrupted their morning!   Apparently many years ago the property was the home of a priest, may be he would have been more welcoming.....
