Packing ?

Well it was up as normal for the beach run-a-bout today then back home. However there seems to be a lot of activity taking place with the Guv and Misses packing lots and lots of boxes. Most have been put in the blue trailer that the "poppymobile" pulls around sometimes.  Now this means something is up....

I'd better keep a close watch......

Play misty for me

Well I guess I have to accept it's winter!  Whilst the days are still reasonably warm the nights have become cold with temperatures dropping to around 6C, it's a good job I'm allowed inside and have my own basket!

Getting the Guv up early for my beach run-a-bout remains the same though, but the mornings are now very misty as you can see from the photo the Guv took from our balcony......

He gave them away......

Lots to do for my people and me this morning!  Besides the normal beach walk and of course a trip to our favourite cafe (where I could watch the humans hitting balls back and forth over a net), the Guv went to the shop and loaded the car up with sacks of doggy biscuits ....YEH....

But guess what?  He then drove to a place and gave them all away!  WOOF....

Mind you I did not really mind, I'm not that keen on hard biscuits and I could see the man he gave them to had over a 100 canines that looked after him.  All of them were once like me, thrown out and left as strays here in Greece.  I just kept a very low profile in case the Guv left me there also !

It's still wet...

A bit of a change this morning with the beach run-a-bout venue, it was off to Petalidi the small seaside human resort about 10 minutes from my house.  Yes it's still wet but at least the clouds had stopped leaking.....

Mind you the trip was more for the Guv & Misses than me because the Misses went into baker's shop and bought lots of yummy cakes.  Uh I bet I don't get any!

It's wet...

It has become a bit wet over the last few days with some rain every day.....this has restricted some what my beach walks as the Guv does not like getting wet. In saying that neither do I !

Mind you we do still go out, its just cut a bit short.

HAPPY   NEW   YEAR

I smell dogs !

Not a lot to tell you this morning apart from the fact that yesterday my people went out without me !  What is more when they came back I could smell they had been with two other dogs.....let me tell you I did not speak to them for the rest of the night.

This morning we went on the normal beach run-a-bout but it was not on the beach where the interest was, but in the air. There were thousands of birds circulating for miles.....uh the Guv forgot the camera though !

MERRY CHRISTMAS

It might be Christmas day but it was still an early up and out for my people and me!  What I don't understand about you humans though is your obsession with snow at Christmas, even in Australia I've seen Christmas cards with snow on them......so I'm treating you to a Greek Christmas, 20C this morning at 0900hrs on my balcony, but just so the Guv does not feel to homesick for the U.K I've built him this "snowman", well sandman really !!!! 

Groving again !

It was back into the olive groves for this mornings walk as many of the groves now have had the olives harvested.  You see when the workers are in the fields the Guv will not allow me to run about there, real spoil sport as I just love running and frightening the locals.......I might be small but let me tell you 90% of the people round here are frightened of us canines!

A day out
