I'm going to hide

My people keep telling me the thunder storm will not come this way but I'm not too sure!

Think I'd better take up hiding.....

Can I help ?

Just what is it with the Guv that he has to have things taken apart when he gets them?  He said something about having new wheel bearings fitted, mind you at least by what I understand it means adding or replacing something.  When he got me I got taken apart at the dog doctors and ended up going home with parts missing!

Picnic time...

Well at the end of the scenic run it was picnic time. Of course my people made sure we were socially distanced and found a nice shady place to sit.  Thank goodness as temperatures were in the high 30's.  Me, I had a nice cold drink of water!

We drive on to:-

Photos Marthon - Images de Marthon, Charente - Tripadvisor

So to follow on from where I went with my people the photo above is at Marthon and those below from Feuillade, but I don't think the village has anything to do with Louis Feuillade the famous film director.

Food, food, food

Well after being told all about the making of wine at Laithwaites it was off to lunch for my people.
Nice venue as well just over the bridge from the wine cellars, right by the riverside in Castillon le Bataille.
There was so much food the missus got a "doggy bag" for ME !

I did learn though....

Now the Guv had already written and explained to the manager that I am very interested in wine and could I come as well.  The thing was I think the guy got it wrong as he went on about how the wine was made.
I'm more interested in drink it !!

A long day.........

A long day for me yesterday as the Guv and the Missus took me to this place where they make wine.  Now I like a drop of the red stuff as you know, I wonder if I get get to taste some ?
