Nothing to report really

You may have noticed I have not been at my computer recently filling in my blog, well there's not really much to report. Most days my housekeepers take me to the beach for my morning exercise and winter is now behind us with the mornings certainly warming up. Not that I intend going in for a swim though!
The beach is full of pebbles and lots of wood etc. washed up over the winter, so I have to be a  bit careful in my run about.  I heard the "guv" say that in a few weeks that globe travelling dog "Lucky" is due to come back to Greece with the guy he looks after.  I am looking forward to that so he can tell me about his adventures!

I'm not going "floating"

Yep another odd human custom they thought I would like to get involved with.  How wrong they are!  Now why would any sensible Greek canine want to ride on these grotesque things? I was actually much more interested in the cats that ran under them when I came along........now they would make a tasty meal!

A whole day out

Well while the misses had her hair done, as I said I was able to have a good run about the harbour and beach area with the Guv. Despite there still being snow on the mountains in the distance the morning was quite warm and sunny. Saying that I'm not letting them cut my fur off just yet!

Afterwards we all went off in the blue tin box to Koroni.  I must say it looked rather run down and not many people about. The tavernas were mostly closed and some of the harbour fronted sitting areas were storm damaged.  Now that's why I stay away from the water !
Tomorrow I'll show you just what the Guv made me do at Koroni!

Dydd Gŵyl Dewi hapus i bawb

As the people who I look after are Welsh I thought I had better get them up extra early this morning and wish them "Dydd Gwyl Dewi hapus i bawb",  well that is the excuse I made anyway.  You see the earlier they get up out of their basket the longer I have out on my visit to the beach.
This morning I heard the misses is going to the hairdressers,  can't see why she can't just shake it about like I do to keep it neat and tidy!  Still it gives me and the "guv" some good time together having a look around Petalidi after my beach romp.  Normally when this happens we also go for a drive and lunch out, I'll tell you tomorrow where we end up......

Meeting new friends

What an eventful day I had today.  My people had to go out to Kalamata and I was allowed to go along as well.  Now often when this happens I either get left in the car or accompany the Guv for a walk around the park.  He often stops and speaks to other humans, but am I allowed to make conversation with other canines, oh no!

This time however it was different. Off we went to the yacht club and when friends of my people arrived they brought their dogs as well.  I met a very nice big black dog called "Scooby", I liked him.  Then later I also met a big collie type dog called "Taffy", we got on OK and he was very nice to me but I had to explain to him I was to remain boss lady!

I also met up with another canine (in the picture above), he was sad and had no people to look after. At our first meeting on the road below we did have a few cross words, but later he came upstairs to apologise, so all was well.

Oh yes I almost forgot I also met a little black poodle in the marina cafe with some Greek people. We got on well and I was sad to see her leave, as I wanted to play.....mmmmm not allowed to though!

Don't wake me up, I'm tired

Not a lot to tell you about over the last week or so.  It has been quite cold, windy and raining most days so me and the Guv have not been out much.  He went out alone the other day though.  Uh... left me and the Mrs at home.  I hear he has had a bad toothache.  Not sure why though, he never crunches any bones like me!
Why is it though that when I get to fall asleep late at night, he always wants to wake me up just before HE goes to bed........can't they leave a sleeping dog lie?

Blow me down.....

Well the walk on the beach this morning was a bit "fur raising" to say the least, in fact I think the Guv was trying to get me blown away! Over the last few days we have had very high winds again and a bit of rain so I've been staying inside. In fact its been so windy the Guv has tied the trees in the garden down with rope!
Now many of you will know I am not too fond of water, be it in the "rain room" or on the beach so it was quickly back to the tin box on wheels for me.  Mr Stop'it tried to get me to go back on the beach, but I was having none of it....I just sat down in protest!

Mine, all mine......

Wide open, empty beach for me now, but at this time of year it is a bit chilly so I have to keep on the move. When I looked at this photograph of me (which you will have to enlarge to even see me), I thought I should start an online Rosie Dog competition.........  " X marks the spot" ,  not spot the ball, but "Spot the Dog!"

Uh..they got to eat!

Now as I said the taverna at Ag Theodora was all closed up so it was off to Megalopoli  for lunch...well it was lunch for my people, I got sort of
" wheeled out the cafe! "

After "they" had their fill off we went again. Now Megalopoli houses the power plant for most of the Peloponnese yet despite this the town is very clean and has  a good town square and lots of shops.  The Guv drove through the gates towards the power plants to have a look at the massive ignite fields being quarried to supply the plant with fuel

1st trip out

The "guv" was up early the other morning and so was I as I had to supervise him moving my hammock from the little tin box to the big blue one.  Well it seemed to fit OK., and I guess that meant we were off out.

First stop the beach for me to have my normal run around, then it was back in the tin box again and off to the hills. Well I think my people have got a bit religious as we ended up at this church and I heard the "Mrs" saying it was famous for some miracles.

Blimey, I could see why........there were loads of trees growing out of the roof of the church and when I went inside there were absolutely no roots showing.  It sure would have been a miracle if some of my male canine friends could have reached those trees.........
Personally I thought it would have a been a miracle if the cafe was open so we all could have something to eat !
